Our flying field is located off NC 46, 1/2 mile west
of I-95 at exit #176, turn down the gravel road next to Redwine's Truck
Service / Parts Dept.
We have a grass strip and pit area along with a sod control-line circle, a sun shelter / storage building and 7 assembly/work tables. We fly year round, mostly on weekend afternoons until dark or later. We average 40 to 50 members and fly all types and sizes of R/C planes. |
MEETINGS
| We meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM, usually at Foley Mfg. and Hobbies, 115 West 9th St, Roanoke Rapids, NC. During the summer months we try to meet at the field for a cookout/meeting at the same times. |
