Flying Day, 4 Oct 2007

A Flying Day, 4 Oct 2007 by John Ratzenberger Thursday evening, 4 October - a few of us got together to fly. Weather was good, with a bit of a crosswind out of the east. First and foremost, Jim Davis takes up his Ultrastick.

Here's Jim Davis with his brand new plane -- the Sig Model "Somethin-extra" -- and he gives it a good workout.

Here I am with my E-Flite Ultrastick 25e. Got in two flights, then we lost contact and it flew over one hill and buried itself into a 2nd one. Did I mention it's the County Dump to the west and three of us had to look quite a bit to find it. Oh, yes, no pix of it in flight -- I'm the photographer ...
